What was the first book you ever wrote and what inspired you?
Chasing Leah and I wanted something about an independent girl who had a rough upbringing so I could show her journey in life.

What drew you in to the romance genre?
I’m a sucker for happily ever after’s, for first loves and all the in between. Simply put, I love love.
Is romance your favorite genre to read as well as write?
Absolutely. No matter what genre I read, there needs to be some romance thrown in or I probably won’t read it.
Can you tell me something about yourself that may surprise your readers?
I’m an extremely quiet and reserved person. I get out all of that craziness by creating some of my characters, most of the time the secondary ones. Got to love the crazy best friends!

What do you do to help with writers block?
Shut off all social media and try to go to sleep. Bedtime is when most of my ideas come to me.

What is your author pen name and do you have more than one?
Cori Williams, formerly known as C.A. Williams. I recently decided to stop using my pen name, so now I’m just Cori.
If you had to pick a favorite author who would it be?
Since many of the readers that will be seeing this interview and participating in the takeover will be new fans. If you had to describe your writing style and books in a single sentence what would it be?
My writing style is real, I don’t always go into extreme detail because I don’t want to bore you, it’s very down to earth and I want you to feel like you know the characters.
