What was the first book you ever wrote and what inspired you?
I’ve always written or created stories. Finally the bug got me to sit down and write one. A publisher read it and said make it hotter. So I did and I had my first book – an erotic romance – A Kept Woman.
Can you tell us about your work including titles and share your amazon links?
I write erotic romance – in various sub-genres. I’ve written an erotic contemporary, a twisted fairy tale, an erotic medieval and an erotic fantasy. I have 2 WIPs, an erotic medieval fantasy and an erotic contemporary.

What drew you in to the romance genre?
It’s just the style that I write. Not a fabulous answer, I know, but it’s the truth.
Is romance your favorite genre to read as well as write?
I’d say so, but I haven’t had much time to read anything else. Most of my reading is now beta reads for author friends.
Can you tell me something about yourself that may surprise your readers?
No. (Can that be surprising that I can’t come up with anything???)
Are you excited to be a part of the upcoming Ropin Romance event?
Yes, being part of something new is always exciting and add to that a chance to meet readers is fab-U-lous!!
What do you to to help with writers block?
Eat chocolate. I might just go get some because at the moment I’d writing this interview rather than finish the chapter I am stuck on.
If you had to choose three words to describe what type of writer you are what would they be?
Wow – that’s a toughie. Thoroughly-undisciplined. Quirky-humour. Off-beat.
What is your author pen name and do you have more than one?
Daryl Devore is my pen name. And do I have more than one – that’s my secret.
If you had to pick a favorite author who would it be?
Can’t answer that – too many favourites – shout out to critters – you know who you are!!!
Since many of the readers that will be seeing this interview and participating in the takeover will be new fans. If you had to describe your writing style and books in a single sentence what would it be?
Hot reads with non-predictable protagonists that will leave you fanning yourself.
