What was the first book you ever wrote and what inspired you?
Queen of Jastain is the first story I ever wrote. It is a compilation of several forms of inspiration. The story revolves around an exiled Warrior Prince whose wife and kingdom were stolen by his best friend and a contemporary college student who recently lost her father and best friend. While the story is an Epic Fantasy, Abby, the heroine brings a fun, snarky contemporary voice into the Medieval world of Jastain. It’s fun watching her cope without running water and technology but also finding her purpose and learning to fight for what she comes to believe in and love.
Can you tell us about your work including titles and share your amazon links?

A Taylor-Made Life is a New Adult Contemporary about cancer and an unlikely romance. It’s a book written from a dark place in my heart when I needed healing. What drew you in to the romance genre?
Soap Operas. From the time I was 12 years old, my summers were spent gorging on daytime TV, and back in those days the only thing to watch was Soap Operas. That was my first taste of romance, and I was addicted. I always dreamed that one day I would write romance. And that’s what I do. Smile
Is romance your favorite genre to read as well as write?
Yes. I love historical romance. I could never write historical because I don’t necessarily like researching all the facts, but I do enjoy reading it. I devour anywhere from three to five books a week. Sometimes I take a break and read contemporary, but nine times out of ten I’ve got my nose stuck in some Regency Romance.
Can you tell me something about yourself that may surprise your readers?
I went to a high school for the performing arts. I was in theater.
Are you excited to be a part of the upcoming Ropin Romance event?
I am very excited about Ropin Romance. So many great authors, readers, and bloggers will be there, and I am excited to be a part of it.
What do you do to help with writers block?
I have never had writers block. I’ve had lazy writer syndrome, can’t stay off Facebook, email, twitter syndrome, but never writers block. I have more stories than I have life in which to write them.
If you had to choose three words to describe what type of writer you are what would they be?
